TSG Opens New Texas Distribution Center and Another to Open in Q4

The Shippers Group is proud to announce the opening of another 122,000 square feet of space in the Dallas area. The facility brings the total number of distribution operations to seven in Texas with the opening of an 8th operation underway and scheduled for early Q4. The new center is located at 4808 Eastover Circle, Suite 101 in Mesquite, Texas.

Growth in 2020 Brings New Team Members

The Shippers Group has experienced tremendous growth in 2020, and with that, we welcomed two new team members! 

Alex Whiteley (pictured left) joined our team in July as Industrial Engineer. With a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M University-Commerce, Alex was brought on to enhance productivity, maximize throughput, and ensure workplace safety. Read more about Alex on our blog.

Krystal Jackson (pictured right) joined our team as Purchasing Manager in August. Her strong analytical and negotiation skills, along with procurement, strategy, and organizational skills will bring added value to our company. Read more about Krystal and her background on our blog.

The Shippers Group to Participate in CSCMP's EDGE Virtual Conference and Exhibition

Rob Doyle, President of The Shippers Group is serving as the Track Chair for Warehousing EDGE Session 3 Education Tracks. The track, Success Stories and Collaboration Between Shippers and 3PLs, will take place on September 21, 2020 from 3:30pm-4:30pm, and is moderated by The Shippers Group's Robin Siekerman, VP of Marketing & Customer Solutions.
